I have always enjoyed an active lifestyle. Growing up in England I ran cross country in high school, swam for a local team and rode my bicycle everywhere as a means of transportation!

I have been teaching group fitness classes since 1996 including spinning, kickboxing, step and aqua aerobics. I also participated in several long distance charity bike rides. In 2003 I signed up for my first season of Team in Training, to run the Disney marathon. It was love at first run! I loved the schedule.. the challenge.. but most of all I loved the amazing people I met. The coaches and the other partipants. I have stayed friends and training partners with many of them to this day!

It was a natural progression for me to start doing some triathlons. People often ask me if I prefer cycling or running and I like them both just about equally.. I love to get away on my bike but running gives you a high that nothing else can. Currently I have completed 12 full marathons, 3 half ironman events and numerous half marathon, olympic distance triathlons and charity bike rides. I ran my first Boston marathon in April 2011 and also qualified for the World Half Ironman Championships in Las Vegas Sept 2012.

I have a busy running season planned for 2012 starting with the Houston marathon, then a few other marathons which I will use as training for my first 50K at the PALM 100 in March.

I have set up a webpage for each of the larger or particularly eventful races I have done and I will update after each event! See you at the finish line!
