Countryside
One of the most visable difference between England and America is the landscape, everything seems smaller. When I lived there I always used to think how funny it was that Americans called everything "cute", but when I go home now I find myself doing exactly the same thing. For the mosty part I think that people tend to walk places a lot more than in America. I think they still try to enjoy the countryside by going for walks, hikes, or bicycle rides. You will need a warm jacket!

Walking in the countryside
With all the rain that England the countryside is very green and lush, it is also very muddy in places. There are lots of small farms so you will see sheep, horses and cows everywhere.

Owning your own canal boat can be very expensive but you can rent them for a weekend. They do not go fast and you have to stop to open the lock gates.
It is a very relaxing experience.
