Houses
Different areas in England have very varying types of buildings. In the South of England arround Devon and Dorset you find these beautiful thatched houses below. Up in the Birmingham all the buildings are made from red brick. Throughout the Cotswolds Lime stone is the most common building material. Cotswold stone (limestone) is excavated all over the country. The biggest quarry right now is Frome, Sommerset. It contains Europe's largest industrial rail network.
