School
Schools in England have completely different system to the states. Your education begins at age four with infant school. At seven years old you move on to junior school. Senior school is for ages eleven to sixteen, at which point you take your GCSE's. You generally need atleast eight passing GCSE's to get into college. If you choose to go on to college you ususally specialize in 3 subjects. Most Universities require 3 A Levels although different Universities require higher or lower grades.

There is no repeating grades like here, you just keep moving on to the next grade. Most schools have systems where you will be in faster or slower classes depending on your abilities.

All public schools enforce a school uniform which I think helps to cut down on bullying and early morning decision making!
